Matthew's place: Which situations need courage to be taken care of?
http://mathieu-tamwood.blogspot.com/2008/11/which-situations-need-courage-to-be.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Which situations need courage to be taken care of? Courage is the abilty to deal with situations that frighten the others. So courage would discribe the talent to sustain fear better than the others. An other signification is also the skill to be able to trust your convictions and to behave in their way. Courage might be a question of self-confidence then. Finally I had like to give an exhaustive list of people that have shown courage in acting for their convictions: Gandhi, M...

JGiesemann in Vancouver: The most important things a child should be tought about manners
http://tamwoodjgiesemann.blogspot.com/2008/11/6-most-important-things-child-should-be.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2008. The most important things a child should be tought about manners. Education is the most important thing a child should be tought, and there are thousands of good manners they should learn. They need this to succeed and to be distinguished. Everybody likes a well-educated child, or even man. Thats why I'm listing some ideas. 2 No name calling. Even if it's in "fun", name calling hurts. 3 Always greet someone when they come over to your house. Or go to someone's house. 7 Respe...

JGiesemann in Vancouver: Homelessness: Vancouver's mayor-elect.
http://tamwoodjgiesemann.blogspot.com/2008/12/homelessness-vancouvers-mayor-elect.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2008. From Tuesday's Globe and Mail. December 2, 2008 at 5:39 AM EST. Housing Minister Rich Coleman and Vancouver's new mayor-elect had a two-hour meeting this weekend in which they agreed they are willing to make extraordinary efforts to reduce homelessness significantly this year. In the two weeks since their municipal election victory, they have identified an immediate need for 700 to 1,000 new shelter beds. So that's why I support to make the city better, giving these people a be...

JGiesemann in Vancouver: If I had $10'000,000 Dollars...
http://tamwoodjgiesemann.blogspot.com/2008/12/if-i-had-10000000-dollars.html
Tuesday, December 9, 2008. If I had $10'000,000 Dollars. This is a difficult question, don't you think? I've been thinking this from time to time all day, and finally came with some ideas. I would like to help out my family if there was any debt to pay, buy them a great present as a thank-you for all the things they've done to raise me as I am. I would like to invest a good amount of money to secure my future and keep living properly, probably invest it in several small companies and make them grow.

Matthew's place: One Education System
http://mathieu-tamwood.blogspot.com/2008/12/one-education-system.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Education has existed for thousands of years, fathers have always wanted to pass on their knowledge to their child. Philosophers living in the Antic Greek had different opinions about knowledge, some were thinking that their duty was to educate their fellow citizens. Others were convinced that good ideas in the wrong hands might have terrible consequences. However, most of them supported that knowledge had to have a price. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. What would you do if you won $10,000,000? Nowadays people have changed their opinion. In the last century a million would be enough to make somebody happy, but an extra cero is always better! This is my chance Let me start with my thoughts:. First I would set stacks in my bedroom just to see how the bills look together,. I would sleep over them to make my weird dream of having "the most expensive bed in the world" true. I am just dreaming away! December 10, 2008 at 11:23 AM.

Fer in BC: December 2008
http://fernandoinbc.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 17, 2008. A few days ago, a couple of my classmates classified me as the worst roommate, that they could have in Vancouver. Well I ain’t a chatty guy at the first time, but I like to share a good conversation with my friends. Maybe I look like a moody guy, but I was really easy going years ago, before a close friend of mine confessed that he was in love with me, the fact freaked me out, since then I prefer women instead of men roomies. I have good reasons to choose a female roommate:.

Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Nowadays high school graduated students are dealing with three big questions:. 1 Which is the best profession for me? 2 Who is going to give me a chance to get working experience? 3 How can I make it great? We know that traditional education system needs to be redesigned because the worldwide economy is always changing and professionals must have the solution in their brains not in their bank accounts. In the second year the educational program will include two options:.
