Norton Family News: An Assassin in the House
http://nortonfamilynews.blogspot.com/2009/04/assassin-in-house.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. An Assassin in the House. I have nightmares of walking around the corner in my house and seeing some strapping teenage boy holding a Super Soaker and mistaking me for my son! He has informed us that he cannot take out the garbage, mow the lawn, or participate in any outdoor activity for the time being. Who knows, this may be his motiviation behind playing the game in the first place. Posted by Susan Norton. Wow, how fun! I had to laugh out loud when I read about Matt getting "ki...

Norton Family News: Mystery Solved!
http://nortonfamilynews.blogspot.com/2009/06/mystery-solved.html
Friday, June 5, 2009. The mystery of the keys is a mystery no more. The whole time we were looking for his keys, I kept asking Mike which pants he was wearing, to which he insisted each time, "my brown. Suit pants." After having looked in his brown suit pants numerous times, I thought he must have left them somewhere else. Well, this morning when he took his suits in to the cleaners, they found that he had left something in his gray. My second thought was, "Are you kidding me? Posted by Susan Norton.

Norton Family News: Singing for the Prophet
http://nortonfamilynews.blogspot.com/2009/09/singing-for-prophet.html
Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Singing for the Prophet. Jace got to sing for the prophet today. Ok, he was singing with about 300 people, but still! President Monson spoke at the BYU Devotional, and they had all the BYU Choirs combined to sing. I stood in front of the TV to see if I could see my baby, and then all of a sudden there he was, a close up right on my TV! It was so fun to see him getting to participate in such a neat choir, but boy it sure made me miss him. Posted by Susan Norton.

Norton Family News: A Bittersweet Week
http://nortonfamilynews.blogspot.com/2010/07/bittersweet-week.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. This past week has been an emotional one. I knew the day would come eventually when Jace would leave to serve his mission in Guatemala, but I think I was in denial! I had such an increased appreciation for these young men and women who put their personal lives on hold to serve the Lord. Posted by Susan Norton. I am both proud and amazed that you only shed a few tears Susie! That in itself is an accomplishment! Jace is going to be an awesome missionary, just like Matt!

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. In Memory of a Hero. SSGT James W. Cawley. This memorial day, I pay tribute to my hero, my brother James W. Cawley, who died in Iraq on March 29, 2003. He was sleeping by the side of the road when a US Humvee accidentally ran over him, killing him instantly. He left behind his wife Miyuki, and his children Cecil and Keiko who were ages 8 and 6 at the time of his death. In his preface letter to his son, he said this:. All my love, Dad". Freedom has a price, and always it is high.

Thursday, April 30, 2009. My Love Affair with Mr. Dickens. OK, I admit it! I am coming clean. I love Charles Dickens. Mind you, I know he is an author, and I am not a reader. I also know that he died 140 years ago, but that does not change my love for him and his stories! I grew up with. A Christmas Carol,. Mike even fell in love with them too! Great Expectations, Bleak House, The Old Curiosity Shop. A new adaptation and a 5 part series! It started out with just Mike and I watching, then Jace, McKinzie a...
