Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Singing for the Prophet. Jace got to sing for the prophet today. Ok, he was singing with about 300 people, but still! President Monson spoke at the BYU Devotional, and they had all the BYU Choirs combined to sing. I stood in front of the TV to see if I could see my baby, and then all of a sudden there he was, a close up right on my TV! Tuesday, May 26, 2009. In Memory of a Hero. SSGT James W. Cawley. This memorial day, I pay tribute to my hero, my brother James W. Cawley, who died in Iraq on March 29, 2003. He was sleeping by the side of the road when a US Humvee accidentally ran over him, killing him instantly. He left behind his wife Miyuki, and his children Cecil and Keiko who were ages 8 and 6 at the time of his death. In his preface letter to his son, he said this:. All my love, Dad". Freedom has a price, and always it is high.
