Sunday, August 28, 2011. Look What We Found…. Spring is just around the corner,. I can shed 4 of my 7 layers of clothing,. We can be comfortable when not in bed with our electric blanket on,. John can go back to short sleeved white shirts,. I can quit whinging (see previous vocabulary test),. And, we can take walks in the beautiful parks of Christchurch like Mona Vale. This beautiful creature scratched under his wing and then gave John a closer look. This little poem reminded me of New Zealand in spring:.

There were thousands of people in attendance, and the farmers, ranchers, sheep men and local craft persons were proud to show everything off. Thursday, February 24, 2011. The Other Side of Town. Brother Bell suggested that we ride with him into the shattered part of Christchurch. Many of the pictures we took are blurry—taken from the window of a moving car. We came back with many questions. Where will all of these people live?
