Tuesday, July 30, 2013. We Went to the Lake. Things are finally starting to slow down around here and I'm soaking up my last few weeks of freedom and trying to get things ready for school. So much fun has been had this summer that I don't even know where to start! I felt a little old. but that's another story. Thank goodness nothing broke down. Of course we got so brave because Howard was their with his boat and all of Kenny's family, so we weren't completely alone. We had so much fun! Don't Miss A Thing.

Requests for school records are supposed to be submitted online - it's faster and easier both for the students and for us. Instead of the usual response ("It's online now? Thursday, October 28, 2010. A friend of mine recently took a trip to Bali and brought me back one of those big rectangles of fabric that are used as wraparound skirts. Well, they're a bit impractical to wear on a regular basis, so I altered it a bit. Introducing: the Bali Skirt. It's the first time I've ever worked with a zipper. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Pancakes in a can? We found this pancake-batter-in-a-can and we had to try it. I mean, aerosol pancakes. How cool is that? We tested it out not long ago. Monday, September 30, 2013. I now know how to properly remove eyeballs, teeth, ovaries and testicles. Watch out world! I am not a fan of pulling teeth! I have palpated lots of cows and actually know what I'm doing now. Anybody need some cows preg checked? We are smack dab in the middle of the theriogenology class. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the information but there is a lot of it! If only I didn't have other classes to study for as well. But most of all this semester has been fun!

I'm a third year vet student at Oklahoma State University. I love all animals but large animals are my favorite. I love cows, horses, and all other types of animals. I hope to find time to be able to share stories and pictures of my journey through vet school. I'm not actually much of a writer but enjoy sharing stories and lots of pictures. My cousins are some of my best friends and most of my best memories are with them. I'm very much a country girl and love being at home on the farm. Don't Miss A Thing.

Love begins in the middle of an ordinary tale. How House Hunting is Like Dating.I hope. Last week I went to Tennessee to find a house. I had heard it’s good to make a list of things you are looking for, so you don’t get suckered into moving into a home you don’t like and have to go through the pain of moving again. I really. Hate moving, so I made a list. I didn’t think these were unreasonable requirements. I just wanted a clean place that I could be healthy and happy in. Walking distance from Southern.
