Ella's Year in Paraguay. Monday, July 25, 2011. My Trip and Postings This Year. I am finally going to Paraguay! I will spend the next eleven months living with a host family, and going to school. I have two host brothers (both at university and living away from home) and two host sisters, as well as a host mom and dad. I will be living in a small town at the very southern tip of Paraguay in the department of Itupua. If you are interested in my life in Paraguay please keep checking my blog.

Ella's Year in Paraguay. Thursday, April 26, 2012. Pop (or soda or soda-pop or whatever you want to call it). They have orange, guarana (I have no idea what that is, but it´s good) and pineapple. They also have a brand called Pulp, that is like Fanta but way better. You can also buy it in glass bottles. It´s cheaper, and tastes way better. You have to return the bottle though. Ella's Year in Paraguay. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. There was a party afterwords at the local club. I didn´t not go. The other American in my town said it was hot. That it was fun, but really easy to over heat. I will not lie. Although it was really fun, and really beautiful, I was also very homesick. There were times when I felt like I did the first couple of weeks. But I managed to get over it for most of the festivities! Monday, December 19, 2011. I uploaded those photos! Fashion is simalar here to fashion in the United States. People generally look really good. There are a few differences that people. Women are also very feminine hear.
