Well friends, we'll start off with sad news first. . . I only have 3 more weeks with the kids. Their parents decided to send them to a year-round school, which takes place M-F 8:30-3:00. So, my help is no longer needed. Saying good-bye to my everyday life with them is going to be tough. Oh, I love them so much. So we're both on the job hunt. Something I've learned in photography recently, especially with reluctant preschoolers and children, is that sometimes the best shots come after the shot. A child that doesn't want their picture taken may be difficult for the shot, but if you take a picture (or pretend to) and then say, "okay done," and then take another one (quickly before they have time to move! You'll usually get the shot you were looking for in the first place!

Things I'm thinking about. 1 I'm sorry for leaving you for so long. Is there a positive side? So this week has been pretty hard. Terrible, in fact. And I've found myself wishing that this week had never happened so things could just be normal.
