Texan Smiths: Halloween
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011/10/halloween.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Aidan is Optimus Prime (a Transformer), Brennan is Thomas the Tank Engine, Evan is a puppy dog, minus the ears, and Marian is Draculaura, (from "Monster High", a vegan vampire). On Friday, our neighbors held their annual pumpkin carving/movie night. Evan checking out the screen from the other side. Some of the results:. Ours are the cat on the left, the face in the middle and the spider on the right. Aidan's last minute addition. Looks like you had fun. View my complete profile.

Texan Smiths: August 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Let me take a hiatus from the summer adventures to post back-to-school pictures. Marian, Aidan, and Brennan all started back last week. Brennan is in Pre-K at a different school than last year, so he had a whole new slew of classmates, teachers, school, bus drivers (and bus pick-up time- ugh) to get used to. So far, so good! Aidan started 2nd grade and seems to like his teacher. No complaints from him, except for homework- 20 minutes of reading, gasp! Saturday, August 20, 2011.

Texan Smiths: More Outings
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011/09/more-outings.html
Thursday, September 29, 2011. When Thomas came back into town, we went back to the Botanical Gardens at Clemson with Evan and Brennan, this time taking the the much prettier, shorter route! Cabin from the mid-1800s. Brennan enjoyed peeking in the windows. That afternoon, we took Marian, Aidan, and Brennan to Duke Power for the self-guided tour in their visitors center to learn all about nuclear energy! Aidan really liked it, so we went through a second time, and he asked to go back every day afterwards.

Texan Smiths: April 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. On the hunt for the Easter baskets. Brennan left alone with loot for too long. Evan loved his hopping bunny. Friends rented out their community pool for the party- the kids loved it! Marian hanging with the gals. What a cheesy smile! Cleaning off the little brother. Monday, April 4, 2011. Bluebonnets aren't having a good season this year since it's been so dry, so we figured we'd just take a picture of our newest Texan by the ones in our backyard. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Texan Smiths: Bluebonnets 2012
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2012/04/bluebonnets-2012.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. I know we missed going last year, so I was happy that we were able to catch the tail-end of the bluebonnet season this year. Evan was loving drawing in the sand along the trail with sticks. Never mind the heat. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Seth's Scientific Boo-Boo Prevention. Happy Birthday to you and you and you! Texan Smiths: January 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. 3rd place in the Tiger Den! So his car goes on to a district race (yet to be determined). Sunday, January 23, 2011. Evan got his first haircut last Sunday, just a trim of the bangs. Then we decided, it ended up making him look like a girl. I think it was just wispy enough to remind us of Marian's hair at this age). And I was afraid if we just cut more around the ears, it would end up looking like a mullett. So we made an appointment and got a full haircut yesterday. Creative Hol...

Texan Smiths: February 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 11, 2011. Brennan's field trip to the local rodeo (just the livestock show part really). The turkeys and chickens were a big hit. One of the turkeys was gobbling, but it really sounded more like a dog barking than a gobble. This goat made the rest of us look like fools, shivering in the 30 degree temps. With a little smile on its face! Feeding the steer- aka throwing the hay near its face. Grammy and Evan came along too. Friday, February 4, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Texan Smiths: September 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. Day Trip to Atlanta. The World of Coca-Cola had a few interesting areas, but for the most part was not worth the price of admission. We found far too many disgusting flavors in the international tasting area- why mess with a good thing? We washed out the bad tastes with the good ol' American flavors. Then we headed across the block to the Georgia Aquarium- definitely worth the price of admission! Waiting for the live dolphin show to start. It was a very peaceful room. Brennan ...

Texan Smiths: June 2011
http://texansmiths.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Evan has always liked hearing the piano played, and now that he can get up there, he likes to play it himself! The only way a true pianist finishes a concert:. Sunday, June 12, 2011. The Many Faces of Evan. Even those these pictures were taken within seconds of each other, it's funny how he can look like a completely different kid from picture to picture. Knows to say "cheeee" when the camera is pointed at him. Looks more like a little boy now that he's upright more often.
