Embracing The Rain

July 21, 2013 · 2:19 pm. I’m not sure if anyone still checks this as it has been a ridiculously long time since I have posted. Baby girl Z arrived safe and sound at the end of January. It is totally surreal that I’m watching an almost 6 month old Miss Z nap as I write this. I’m going to fill in some of what happened since my last post at 18 weeks pregnant. In December I got a nasty virus that went through my school and finally started to feel better weeks later. I did manage to power through making a...

18 Weeks →. June 27, 2012 · 8:48 pm. I am amazingly still pregnant today. I am incredibly grateful and also shocked and terrified. I’ve sat down several times over the last few weeks to write a post, but just haven’t got it done. I’ve been really nauseous and tired which was part of it, but I was also feeling really unsure of posting for whatever reason. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts on choosing an OB and/or hospital? Thanks for reading such a long, rambling post if you made it this far. It&#82...

A Change of Plans: In Between

http://planschanging.blogspot.com/2012/08/in-between.html

A Change of Plans. We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. Joseph Campbell. 160;Friday, August 10, 2012. I'm not sure where to begin this post. I suppose with my last. It amounted to about 200 friends, total. Mostly acquaintances, actually, or people I haven't had a conversation with in many many years. Then I got married and my hubby was put on TDRL, or the temporary disability retirement list, because of his heart problems stemming from hi...

A Change of Plans. We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us. Joseph Campbell. 160;Thursday, May 31, 2012. We're talking about the difference of 8 weeks, which potentially could be the difference between life and death, between chaos and calm, between lasting guilt and peace, between sorry and safe. No rush, please. We've done enough of that. It's time to stop pushing the time boundary at every turn. Even if it means I'm a complete ...NEDC rece...

Nothing was better than hearing my husband announce, "It's a boy! As the doctor held him up for us to see for the first time. Someday he'll be a strong, confident man . . . Delayed in DINKville: No More Baby

http://delayed-in-dinkville.blogspot.com/2011/03/no-more-baby.html

Our long and unexpected layover en route to becoming parents. May not be for the faint of heart.* *. My third beta was scheduled for today. I woke up early this morning to take my mom and sister to the airport by 7:00 am and then headed to the lab. Right before I left my house, I inserted my morning MVP. And noticed a slight amount of red blood on the applicator after I removed it. Given my bleeding experience last week. Which still resulted in more than doubling HCG levels. Our long and unexpected layover en route to becoming parents. My creative and artistic hubby decided to make this costume for me and the baby this year (mask was purchased, shirt was designed and painted by my talented husband):. Time to pass out candy to the little goblins who come by. We usually get close to 150 kids at our house every year. We started by telling our close relatives in person. We visited Grandma WOW. Delayed in DINKville: July 2011

http://delayed-in-dinkville.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Our long and unexpected layover en route to becoming parents. My HCG on Friday was up to 1557. I have an early u/s scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. By that time I will be 5w4d along and it will probably too early to see a heartbeat. The RE has decided against heparin or lovenox at this point, but I haven't heard why directly from him yet so we plan to discuss that with him on Wednesday if everything is still looking good. Wouldn't that be something? Take Four - Beta #2. No IVF This Month After All.
