November 11, 2013. The Mound Cemetery is one of the most interesting landmarks in Marietta. You can climb to the top of the Conus mound and look down at the graves of soldiers from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam was as well as the graves of many Marietta citizens, dating back to its founding.
