Isaiah 59:11: July 2009
http://isaiah5911.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
We all (Spencer, Christin, Collin, and Bailey) growl like bears. I'll admit, most of my parenting techniques are not from a book. Most of the time, I just try something and if it doesn't work, or stops working after a while, I move on to something else. The priorities in our house, when it comes to discipline, are to disciple out of love, not anger, and to teach Collin to grow up to be an awesome man of God. I like the ideas presented in most of the books, but I just can't seem to make them work! I reall...

Isaiah 59:11: February 2011

We all (Spencer, Christin, Collin, and Bailey) growl like bears. I just need to take a moment and share some frustration, but first, a little back story. Once upon a time, less than a year ago, I started running. Then I got inspired to run a half marathon. I completed it, and did it faster than I thought I could! The training was tough, but I made it through and accomplished a huge goal. Also, I fell back in love with running! I could run pain free! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Kyle: June 2009
http://kyle-c.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Memorial Day and Staycation Part One. Monday, June 22, 2009. Once we started to head out, there were all these long, downward things that were so much fun. Mommy kept telling me to slow down. Our next trip was to the Ft. Worth Zoo. I love my animals, so it was a blast. I could have watched the penguins all day. I also got to ride my first carousel at the zoo. I think my favorite part was getting to pet a hissssss (snake)! I wasn't quite sure if I liked this part, but the birds were eating off my stick.

Happy 4th of July! Thursday, July 24, 2008. Digging into my real first meal. Boy, am I stuffed! If you look closely, you can see a glimmer of my first tooth. Friday, July 11, 2008. Happy 9 Months to you, Kyle! Yes, that's right, time for another Mommy entry. Every few months I have to talk about what a big boy Kyle is getting. And it's so true. Not only are the "tasks" he's doing so much more advanced, but I can even see his body changing. It's definitely. He has the glimpse of his very first tooth!

Monday, November 10, 2008. Roundin' up my cattle. Posing with pumpkins at class. Getting off my horsie after a long day's work. Decorating my pumpkin was almost as much fun as decorating the white floor and cabinets! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Some things I'm doing at 15 months:. Signing for all done, monkey, elephant, duck, and pig. Cooking orders in my restaurant. Loving on my cats (chasing them so I can rest my head on their body). Reading and reading books. I'm so proud, I can now get on the big chair. I'm being silly, I'm inside a box! I love to eat apples like a big boy. I don't have to try hard to charm when I have this smile. Exhausted after a long day of play. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

No Longer a Baby. Happy Birthday to Me! Monday, October 27, 2008. No Longer a Baby. Does this picture say it or what? My little baby is not a baby anymore. This is such an exciting time to watch Kyle grow more and more independent as he becomes a toddler, but at the same time he's just growing up too fast! Some things he's doing at the age of 1. Walking everywhere and sometimes running (to catch the cats). Loves to play peek-a-boo, chase, and hide-and-seek. Mommy, I'm naked! Don't take a picture! I'll ta...

Gitmo, Jungle Gym, and Blocks. 11 Months and New Cousin! Friday, September 26, 2008. Gitmo, Jungle Gym, and Blocks. But when Mommy got back we both got sick for 2 weeks - not fun. :( Now, we are better and I am playing all the time. I got a "jungle gym" from Grandma as a quasi birthday present, and it is awesome! Also, my favorite toy is now blocks and my favorite activity is now stacking them. Mommy says its quite a feat! Uncle Zach driving Mommy around is his uniform. Showing off my new jungle gym.

Cute, Cute, Cute! Saturday, May 8, 2010. Pillow fight in the hotel room. Mesmorized by the fish and sharks at the Atlanta Aquarium. Loved playing at the beach. What is this cannon thing? Took a little while to warm up to the water, but then there was no holding back. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Kyle: April 2009
http://kyle-c.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2009. My very first Easter Egg hunt - at my weekly playgroup. I also got to make Easter cookies, decorate them, and of course eat them! Celebrating Easter with G-ma and Grandpa. Easter morning - getting filled up on the treats inside the eggs. The Easter Bunny brought me lots of stuff in my Easter basket, but also got me a sandbox! Unfortunately, it was sprinkling, so I had to wait till the next day to play in it. Heading out for my 4th Easter Egg hunt this week. I'm a pro now.
