Over 60% of homeless individuals in our shelters are mentally ill.

Let The People Ride. Let The People Ride. Every community faces problems and the Dayton metro area is no different. LEAD works with community members to identify these problems research possible solutions, and build the people power need to make systemic change. Academic achievement in the Dayton Public Schools has been extremely low for a very long time. Over 2 years ago at LEAD’s Problems Assembly, our members voted to address this huge problem which negatively affects so many of our families.
