Thursday, September 10, 2009. As I sit at my desk eating my apple I am shocked at how quickly the year is going by. I am super happy at how my felted slippers turned out (see below). They were relatively easy to make, and with the help of YouTube video, I taught myself the Magic Loop. I want to pick up cables next, and possibly take a class at Threefold Educational Center. Monday, January 31, 2011. Then I got super excited because I figured out how to make it in my head. My grandmother used to always tell me about her mom who could see something in the window at a store and go home and make it. Monday, February 23, 2009. In true "me" fashion, I am starting off the year by:. Writing a list (built from many lists on many little scraps of paper). This list is a work in progress. GOALS FOR 2009 (in no particular order):. Run a marathon (yikes! October 10th in Baltimore is creeping up! Take advantage of my snazzy connections (wink! Visit friends in far off places (goes along with above). Clean my childhood bedroom (perhaps the most daunting item on this list). DOCUMENT EVERYTHING with photographs.

Saturday, November 28, 2009. Getting ready for Finch's Holiday Boutique 2009! Successfully got through Thanksgiving, which means NEXT weekend =. Finch's Holiday Time Boutique 2009! And there's so much to do! Recieveing drop-offs of 38 designers items. Put up my Christmas tree. Get MY inventory list in order. Merchandise everyone's lovely items. Open up shop 11am Sat. Dec. 5th. Hooray! What I've made for the Boutique this year list:. Squeaky Bones for pups, and Jingle Nugget Toy for kitties.
