Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Iced in and.he wrote, he wrote, he wrote! Yes, this is the serious ice storm. That closed us down for 2 days. This is the best picture of ice that i could find. I'm not a meteorologist- don't even know if i spelled it correctly- but i don't get freezing rain. it just seems that if it is cold enough, and there is precipitation falling.that it should be SNOW- not ice chips! Ballad of the Boyds. The most important things in life aren't things. Friday, October 31, 2008. A whole lot has been going on in the past 2 months! We went to the pumpkin patch in Flower Mound and it was a beautiful day in Texas. Wally came home early today so we were able to get there in the afternoon. We had so much fun! So cute.I wonder where he'll be next year! Here is Amelia Grace sporting the overalls I made! They offer a hayride for free and the kids loved it! Here is Ethan having a great time!

Ballad of the Boyds. The most important things in life aren't things. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. A VERY busy weekend. Saturday was crazy and soo much fun! Our community had its annual Easter Party. We were able to go egg hunting, meet the Easter Bunny, go to a petting zoo, jump in the bounce houses, and visit the balloon guy! Following the community party, the school had its carnival. We stayed all night and had a total blast! I love Texas in the spring! You can do everything outside! Such a great time!

I got some really great news to share.the Boyd's are adding a new addition to our family. Actually two! I got two seperate phone calls from my sister in laws on Wally's side of the family and they both are expecting! Their due dates are only about a week apart. Thursday, March 15, 2012. Still alive and kicking :). Shameful. the time that has flown by where i haven't written a thing. But, my conscience is nagging and i must return and fill in the blanks-.
