Writing to Learn 9. FAMILY WEEKEND WAS AMAZING! I thought that it might be a bust because I don’t have much to do with my family at a university. We did go to the game- IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING GAME I HAVE EVER SEEN HANDS DOWN! The game winning touchdown for ISU was straight out of a movie and it was replayed in front of my eyeballs. Writing to learn 8. The movie I watched with my group was “Stand and Deliver”. The movie started off slow and I wasn’t as interested because it looked like an “old” movie. The movie is old but it’s not black and white or anything like that. The contrast is what obviously makes this advertisement memorable. Because everything is white and pale, the post-it note with the chick’s name on it really stands out. If the blanket was a different color the audience might not be draw to the post it as much. Proximity is also important in this advertisement because she is the closest thing to the camara. Reflection on my paper “Student Philosophy”. Reading all of the comments, you can defiantly tell who actually read and who just proof-read. A lot of people had the same things to say. I think in order to make my paper better I need to change all of the “how to” parts into personal examples. The main reason I want a history to be the only book left is to teach the survivors about where they came from and what the world was like before everything came crashing down.
