Thursday, February 28, 2008. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. If she were to answer no, then she is ignorant and the conversation would be over. The fact is there are plenty of women out there who demine the gender all by themselves without any help from men. A woman could just as easily designed this shirt as a man could have. Monday, February 25, 2008. I definitely agreed with the article about christmas lights. Christmas lights are just an all around good thing, they are the sign of the season and br...

Sunday, April 20, 2008. This story was very confusing, I did not understand it. I like how they talked about the animals names but I did not understand why really. I just thought this story was to confusing. Was the lady naming these animals. I can def. see why you didnt understand it. I didnt understand it at first either but after reading it a few times i got a better meaning. Reading other peoples blogs also helped! April 30, 2008 at 1:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, February 28, 2008. Posters or billboards that have to do with politcal things or world problems don't really affect the way I think. I usually notice them but don't look to deep into it, I will still have my own view and a poster isn't going to make me change that view. It is good they are out there though so that people do know what problems are in the world. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Analyzing the Design of an Everyday Text. Light unto the Wealth of Nations. Comp101: comparing
http://justincomp101.blogspot.com/2008/04/comparing.html
Thursday, April 17, 2008. Our reactions were very different. I focused more on the history and factualness of the story while the other blog focused more on a theme that she got from the story. I do agree that stereotypes and generalizations happen all the time and arent a good thing. I also had a very different reaction to the story. I thought it opened up a new aspect that i didnt look at the first time i read it. I also agree with sterotypes and generalizations not being a good thing.

Thursday, January 31, 2008. On my way to class I was somewhat stressed about what I have to do today. The color that would describe my mood best would be orange. This is because my mind was at unrest, many things were racing through it. Orange gives me the feeling of business and unrest. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Monday, January 28, 2008. Thursday, April 24, 2008. I thought the topic sentence in the first paragraph about Shiitakes was the beginning sentence. I felt that there was a lot of extra information about how to cook these mushrooms, unless the topic sentence was turned into something that details how to cook these mushrooms. I also thought ther was too much information about the mushrooms. And also to much time was spent on the price. April 30, 2008 at 1:31 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Margaret Atwood "Siren Song". This poem I thought was about death the first time I read it, but the more I read it, I changed my mind and it seemed like just a poem that was about a person who wasn't happy and was asking for help. They seemed like they did not like the position in which they were in and were beginning to become crazy. They wanted help from someone and thats why they sang that song. Alfred, Lord Tennyson "Ulysses". William Butler Yeats "Leda and the Swan". Journe...

Wednesday, April 23, 2008. I said the same thing too. I think a poet can get the emotion out of a story and journalist just wants to make the story interesting. I don't think he/she cares about the emotion. April 24, 2008 at 9:19 AM. I didnt get the same interpretatino from this what so ever. but i thought yours was a very intersting point of view and def. agree with you! April 30, 2008 at 1:18 PM.
