As you can tell, there are three different colors, signifying three different times my husband wrote on my cook book. Thursday, April 26, 2012. A bicycle built for two. Last weekend my work. Had a 10 mile bike ride for the Women's and Infant Services department and their families. It was a warm morning and hardly anyone showed up but we still had a good time. Rick and Quinn rode the tandem bike. I like how Quinn's helmet is hanging from his handlebars, lota good that will do. Sunday, October 28, 2012. A band of coyote. Late last night or early this morning,. My own son and two of his friends chose to play with a rattlesnake a few weeks back that they found in a nearby greenbelt. I cannot confirm nor deny if the snake was alive before or after these boys met Mr. Rattle. Did you know if there was a group of rattlesnake, it would be called a rhumba of rattlesnakes. Who knew? Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Today we got a package from Cole. In it contained a jump drive with over 202 pictures and videos on it. This is just a small smattering of what it offered. It's so good to see Cole as a missionary. Cole is third from left and his companion is to his right. This is down in Nago, Okinawa, before he was transferred to Takasu, Hiroshima. Friday, March 6, 2015. Another holiday season has come. And gone not to mention new years too and not a single post from me. David and i at a dude ranch for our 33 anniversary get away. This past holiday season was a bit challenging. I am working through the changes. Not always liking them but doing it anyway. I am doing my best to make spring a happy time and turn a "new leaf" as it were. In april david and i are going with leland and lauren to big sur, california for a marathon that leland is running.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. This month has been a rough one for our family. little quinn was born early. She spent her life in the nicu at banner desert hospital. She passed at 4 days. She is buried in the mesa city cemetery. Next to her great aunts and uncle: annette (my 2nd to oldest sister) aunt marion ( her grand aunt and uncle buds wife) and her grand uncle bud (grandpa burgess' brother). Among the cypress trees it is shady and beautiful. She will always be remembered by those of us who love her.

Monday, August 17, 2015. 12 Weeks of Summer: Week 10. Despite having a super busy week of work, I managed to get some activities accomplished! Tuesday: Pool with Preschool friends. Wednesday: Ice cube painting. Friday: Play Red Light Green Light. Of course, the pool was a big hit on Tuesday.
