This will be my first exhibition in York, I have always drawn and painted, and this year I turned my hand to tattooing. I run a small wild animal rescue from home with my sister and my partner, there are always birds in our home. What made me love birds so much and draw as well as rescue and rehabilitate them was Mortimer, who is a little house sparrow who fell out of her nest eight years ago - the day she hatched.
