https://belindajanesblog.wordpress.com/2016/09/11/primary-connections

In the beginning of the PD the facilitator opened with this quote, a favourite of mine! And their ...

ICTs, Science & Year Two’s – Miss Belinda Jane
https://belindajanesblog.wordpress.com/2016/09/02/icts-science-year-twos
ICTs, Science and Year Two’s. That brings me to my current assignment- developing a unit plan for ‘my somewhere’. Previously I had written about this being a Year Two context, so I have decided to develop my unit plan around the curriculum requirements for this age group to become familiar with what I will need to know on professional experience. I haven’t had a Year Two class yet so I am excited to work with this age group and learn more of the Australian Curriculum. Whilst working on my unit plan, I al...

https://belindajanesblog.wordpress.com/2016/09/11/evernote-scannable
A fellow pre-service teacher and have created a ‘work chat’ with Evernote. Stumbled across this app and told me about it after we were discussing Professional Experience Networks. And since we both are going on a Year 2 placement we wanted to stay connected. So we are trialing evernote as a way to collaborate during prac. I have also downloaded Scannable for Evernote. To help share my documents. 63 Engage with colleagues and improve practice. Networking is a great life skill to have! September 11, 2016.

David’s though-provoking question was. Teaching: Making a difference. Ed) Milton, Queensland: John Wiley and Sons Australia, Ltd.

Become a Volunteer today! – Miss Belinda Jane
https://belindajanesblog.wordpress.com/2016/09/08/be-a-volunteer
Become a Volunteer today! Yesterday, something jumped out at me… becoming a Pyjama Angel with the Pyjama Foundation. That’s right, an opportunity to volunteer jumped out at me. ‘Volunteer’ I hear you say, ‘why would you want to volunteer? If we look to Dictionary.com. The top two meanings for volunteer as a noun are:. A person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking. A person who performs a service willingly and without pay.
