Sharing Ministry and Faith: April 2015
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Thursday, April 30, 2015. I have, for many years, appreciated the work of Pastor Bryan Lowe who writes at brokenbelievers.com. As someone who suffers from a variety of illnesses. He is honest and humble and I thank God for his courage. Here are my comments. Let me know what you think. Thank you for this, Bryan. Two points:. Lots more to say but that’s enough for now. Check out Bryan's original article and comment if you like at Ignoring a Mentally Ill Believer. A daily devotio...

Sharing Ministry and Faith: March 2015
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Friday, March 27, 2015. God's Word - and God's Love - on the Cross. I'm continuing to study the question " Why Did Jesus Die? I'm doing this as I prepare for Palm Sunday, the day Jesus entered Jerusalem on the way to the cross. It's clear Jesus did not die by mistake. No, it's clear, from scripture, that Jesus came in order to lay down his life for us. That was God's plan. But that doesn't answer the question " Why did Jesus die? That's the way I would ask the question. But th...

Sharing Ministry and Faith: Prayer Ready Now
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/06/prayer-ready-now.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Saturday, June 27, 2015. In what ways are you being humiliated? I ask that question now at 4 AM after reading yesterday's devotion* from Oswald Chambers' My Utmost for His Highest. One of the greatest proofs that you are drawing on the grace of God is that you can be totally humiliated before others without displaying even the slightest trace of anything but His grace. How can that be done? Don’t say, “I will endure this until I can get away and pray.” Pr...8212; draw on the g...

Sharing Ministry and Faith: TGIF
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/07/tgif.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Friday, July 10, 2015. I'm home in Cokato after another week of training. This week we* learned to drive 62 foot long articulated buses and practiced the routes we'll serve customers on beginning July 15. Next week we'll get some advanced training on Monday and Tuesday from one of a well known bus "roadeo" king, Jack Berner. Anyway, I'm very glad to be home. We" that is, the four trainees from our class of eight that were assigned to the Heywood garage. Colored words are links.

Sharing Ministry and Faith: All His Benefits
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/08/all-his-benefits.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Friday, August 7, 2015. What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits to me? It's 10:30 as I'm starting to write this. I'm a passenger on a bus at the moment, on my way downtown from mom and dad's - I plan to get on the light rail to St. Paul to visit someone in the hospital there. It's nice to take a break from driving. I'm doing entirely too much of that lately. Now I'm on the Green Line train on the way to St. Paul.]. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Sharing Ministry and Faith: It Will Be Good
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/06/it-will-be-good.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Friday, June 26, 2015. It Will Be Good. It's good to be back home in Cokato after our third week of Metro Transit training. I'm getting better at the job, feeling more confident, honing skills. On Thursday morning, just as we were going out to pick up passengers for the first time, I saw a sign on the window of a business that echoed what the Lord has been telling me. The sign reads. A NEW ADVENTURE IS COMING UP AND I'M SURE IT WILL BE A GOOD ONE . Colored words are links.

Sharing Ministry and Faith: Wanted: My Next Missional Community
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/07/wanted-my-next-missional-community.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Sunday, July 12, 2015. Wanted: My Next Missional Community. Toni sometimes calls me "Lone Ranger." She has only started to do that in the last few months. At some point she set her phone so the Lone Ranger theme song plays when I call. ".Dadala dadala dadala dadala da da. Dadala dadala dadala da da. Dadala dadala dadala da da. Dadalaaaa dadala da da.". I do feel sort of "lone-ranger-ish" these days. Why? My work environment does have a good purpose. Many of the people I'm ...

Sharing Ministry and Faith: Uptown Update
http://equalsharing.blogspot.com/2015/07/uptown-update.html
Sharing Ministry and Faith. Monday, July 20, 2015. For the last 4 weeks or so I've been staying, mostly, with my parents in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. I've gotten home to Cokato on a few weekends and we had time at Toni's parents; then last Saturday we were in the Taylors Falls area, but I've been here with mom and dad most nights during the week. I'd write more, but I'm tired and morning comes early. My morning shift technically begins at 6:10 AM but I want to get there a half hour early at the...
