Saturday, March 30, 2013. Congratulations to Audrey, this little lady is potty trained! Oh my goodness, the Compton kids are at it again with brightening Jim and my day! Now that they have dyed all the eggs they didn't want to let the rest of the dye go to waste and started painting temselves! Audrey is baby Hulk and Edison is running around saying "I'm the Lizard" which is a reference to a Spider-Man villain! Tomorrow we go on an egg hunt at my cousin's ranch, yee haw! Sunday, July 7, 2013. Happy 4th of July. My old friend from high school, Shana, spent the night last night at our house with her family. I was in her wedding back in 2002 and now it was fun to get our lil families together. She has two girls! They live in Minnesota. Last night we went to Punch Bowl for food and bowling with the kids. Shana and I shared a punch bowl of drinks! Then we went to Sweet Action Ice Cream while Jim and Shana's husband went for beers at Trve Brewing. Their menu is fun!

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. A raccoon visited us on President's Day weekend. The kids discovered it while playing in backyard, thought it was our cat, and then told us. We notified the city and were told that sometimes when raccoons don't make it home before the sun comes out (since they're nocturnal), they have to find a dark, safe, quiet place to rest until the evening and sure enough it was gone around 10p! Thursday, May 23, 2013. Sunday, May 12, 2013. Look Mommy, I look like you! The kids love to mimic us and this morning Audrey went in my closet and put on my furry house shoes and then my heels! I know I'm a lucky mom. I'm surrounded by wonderful moms who inspire me and I just love being a mother to Edison and Audrey. Went to my favorite restaurant for breakfast today. It's so beautiful out we may go for a bike ride. Now I'm "napping" with Audrey while Edison plays with the neighbor girls!

Thursday, November 29, 2012. Weddings are fun. I'm one of "those" people who over the course of the ceremony and reception feel close with everyone in the room. ALSO, I love weddings with great photographers, photo booths, the whole thing. When we got married, we didn't go that route, but in some alternate reality or circumstance, I would have loved to have done that. I'm so glad Jess and Brandon did because we got some fun shots out of it! Thanks again Jess and BrandO! The best little tv crew that could!
