The Cooper Union Joint Activities Committee is composed of Student Council members selected from each of the three schools. The committee is charged with assigning funding to the various clubs and societies at the Cooper Union in the best manner possible to ensure that every student is given an opportunity to interact with others and have fun. The new JAC Facebook page, which can be used for posing facebook events for all Cooper students can be found here. As stated in the JAC Constitution.

Start A New Club. To start a new club at Cooper Union, you have to fill out a couple preliminary forms. You must first fill out club founding documents. Which state your club's purpose and intent. Afterwards, you can login. To the site to add additional officers and administer your club. Finally, you will be able to apply for funding using the funding request form.

JAC Policies and Procedures. Requests are submitted for events occurring during the allocation period at hand. There are two types of requests:. Event Budget. These events may or may not need guards and must be requested separately. Ongoing Budget. This is a lump sum devoted to events that occur more than 3 times a semester or ongoing projects for college competitions. After you've requested funding for this semester you can review your requests and also view the final budget decisions using the funding search form.
