Our girls are all considered a commercial flock. We have a mix with some Suffolk, Hampshire, Ile De France, Rideau Arcott, and a hint of Charollais. They get vaccinated annually with Tasvax and Case-Bac. They are also dewormed annually. Their feet are done every 3-4 months, and they are sheared every spring before lambing season begins to prevent flystrike or any lambing/nursing problems! Create a free website. We do not stud our bucks out. We try to maintain a relatively closed herd to try and prevent any accidental spreading of disease. Clive" is the beginning of our future in Boer goats. We have decided to breed meat goats. It was an idea we wavered on and researched for a couple years before landing on the decision to go ahead with it. Now that we have pastures fenced and lambing/kidding areas built and set up, It has made it possible for us to take on this new venture! VERY excited to see him grow!

Fiona was given to us when my cousin moved. She LOVES goats, and will protect kids and lambs without hesitation. However I don't think she would mind getting rid of the adult sheep haha. She does put up with them just so she can fuss over their babies! Giselle is our new Llama. She was a rescue and was born in the winter which is why she only has half of her ears. She is still warming up to the animals, fortunately she doesn't like dogs so I believe she should make a pretty good resident guard!

Zip my future sheep dog! Wel this is Zippity Doo-Dah Zippity Day or zip for short! She is purebred Australian shepherd. I brought her home at the end of April this year. I have just noticed her prey drive starting to pick up a little! So hopefully with any luck after school starts up I can start working this little lady with the sheep!
