Sunday, July 11, 2010. Spain has won the World Cup! The game was absolutely CRAZY! I don't even know how many yellow cards were given to the Netherlands but I know they broke a World Cup record for sure. It was major nail-biter of a game and it was very stressful to watch because it just didn't feel smooth. There were interruptions every few seconds and both teams played well. But in the end Spain won! The winning goal was scored by Andres Iniesta and it didn't come until the 116th minute of the game!

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. So today I bought a pair of waterproof hiking shoes for South Africa. I literally tried on at least. 10 pairs of shoes at REI before finally finding this one really funky but comfortable shoe. I realize that in 24 days I will actually be in South Africa. Sunday, July 11, 2010. Today is the final day of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and it'll be very exciting because Spain and the Netherlands are both really great teams. I'm sure the game will be awesome. I'm actually getting ready to head out and watch the game at my parents' house shortly. I'm rooting for Spain but overall I am just hoping for a good, exciting match! Måndag 5 september 2011. September, en underskattad månad! Idag blev det tredje turen till Storskalltaren för gästerna på Söröya. Vädret kan inte bli bättre och fisket är på sin topp! Att agna med sej har visat sig utklassa alla andra metoder. Från Guidebåten lyckades man fånga hela 6st bergstorskar över 20 kg, och största på hela 22 kg! Men dagens största Torsk var från Nisse i båt 2, på hela 22,5 kg! Sammanlagt fångades över 10 st 20kg torskar idag. Fint genomsnitt må man säga! Lördag 3 september 2011.
