Though my main focus for the still-life project is shooting stuff i find on my daily rounds with the dogs, i just couldn't resist playing around with my paintbrushes. Here is a bunch of them, resting on a sheet of textured acrylic paper. shot with my iphone (5S) and processed with. Snapseed, brushstroke and blender. Still life with crumpled cans. Exploring with my camera. Woensdag 3 april 2013. Photo heart connection march. The mesmerizing beauty of decay. A week ago my neighbor came by with a bunch of beautiful tulips. i took some shots of them and put them on one of my blogs. After a week they began to fade, the shape and texture of the flowers becoming even more beautiful and captivating. These shots remind me of 17th century still life flower paintings. Today i collected four dirty tin cans from among the rotting brown leaves in the bushes. i also took some of the muck that was sticking to the outside. Yesterday i started a new course with Kim Klassen. fifty two weeks of creating, shooting and sharing still life photographs. I have decided to use the stuff i find daily, when i am out with the dogs in the polder behind my house, and then combine it with some of the numerous objects and fabrics i have collected over the years. Weelderig zilverkleurig blad langs de golfbaan. En op de dijk grote witte paddenstoelen. Donderdag 6 september 2012. Zonlicht op groen blad en witte strepen door de wolken. Winter en lente, oud en nieuw, verdroogde bloemen vlak bij jonge wilgenkatjes. Aan het eind van de dag zorgt de ondergaande zon voor schitterende kleuren. Dames met een camera. Een dialoog in beeld en woord. Dinsdag 30 september 2014. Beter laat dan nooit. Hier is dan eindelijk een antwoord op jouw laatste post. Heb mijn digitale stapel foto's van de afgelopen dagen doorgespit en er drie uitgehaald die ik zelf wel bijzonder vind. Zaterdag kwam ik onverwacht oog in oog te staan met deze strootjes kauwende viervoeter. Vorige week was de Zijl ineens met felgroen kroos bedekt. De zomer is nu wel definitief voorbij, ook voor het waterschap. Wie zijn de dames?
