Angela's Recipe Blog: September 2010
http://angelasrecipeblog.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Recipe: A statement of the ingredients and procedure required for making something, especially, but not only, a dish in cookery, a means for attaining or effecting some end. Saturday, 25 September 2010. However the Ptarmigan Restaurant there provided a little consolation with a dish of salmon in a creamy leek sauce, even if we didn't see it's namesake. sew-together: Bobbins
http://sew-together.blogspot.com/2008/08/bobbins.html
Women who came together because of a love of quilting but found that they had much more in common . Monday, 11 August 2008. A few years ago I went to Coldharbour Mill at Uffculme, near Collompton in Devon, and a fascinating trip it proved to be. One of many baskets of bobbins in the mill. There is a shop at the site selling the finished yarn, as well as rugs and tartans, which I believe are also made on the premises. And while on the subject:-. I suppose the origin of the pattern shape was the old wooden...

sew-together: Chasing Rainbows
http://sew-together.blogspot.com/2009/02/chasing-rainbows.html
Women who came together because of a love of quilting but found that they had much more in common . Monday, 16 February 2009. When I decided to post this picture I thought I would accompany it with a line or two about rainbows from some romantic poem or other. For a country that has a lot of rain there seems to be a singular dearth of positive thoughts about rainbows. It's all about chasing rainbows, rainbow's end, somewhere over the rainbow! http://angelasrecipeblog.blogspot.com/2012/01/apple-skillet-cake.html
Recipe: A statement of the ingredients and procedure required for making something, especially, but not only, a dish in cookery, a means for attaining or effecting some end. Monday, 30 January 2012. Rueben's Apple Skillet Cake. Serves 2 greedy people, four restrained ones! This is just really a big Pancake, It's based on the one that was famously served in the New York post-theatre eaterie, Reuben's. It's not difficult to make but it does require total attention - the sugar can easily burn. Cook for a co...

sew-together: Blocks of a Quilter's Life
http://sew-together.blogspot.com/2008/05/blocks-of-quilters-life.html
Women who came together because of a love of quilting but found that they had much more in common . Thursday, 15 May 2008. Blocks of a Quilter's Life. My finished quilt came about when my very good friend suggested we do a workshop to pass on what we had learned since picking up our very first fat quarter! I used fabric left over from Daughter No. 1's wedding quilt, only buying the backing. What a lovely day it turned out to be! It's always a wonderful, warm feeling to pass on what you have learnt. Guide...

Recipe: A statement of the ingredients and procedure required for making something, especially, but not only, a dish in cookery, a means for attaining or effecting some end. Sunday, 25 July 2010. What do you keep in your Freezer? We already have one upright freezer and I am looking forward very much to the new delivery, although I do wonder why two pensioners need so much freezer space – does in fact our allotment produce cost us a great deal more than we realise. With this thought in mind I have this we...
