mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: May 2011
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Sunday, May 22, 2011. I’m finally getting to Greece and Easter weekend weeks later. Mom and I are on a train to Rome to catch our flight to Nice, France, and I just haven’t had time to get another blog in with finals, saying good-bye to Florence, and traveling. But Greece was an unforgettable weekend and definitely deserves a blog post. Thursday morning we hopped on a five hour bus to Ancona, Italy with Bus2Alps. Dinner consisted of a deliciou...

mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: April 2011
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Thursday, April 28, 2011. Mom comes in less than two weeks now. Can you believe it? I had a delicious Bailey’s and Kahlua cocktail the first night at Moyo which had a Latin themed buffet and a raspberry beer at Kitsch. Having visitors gives us an excuse to go out and try new places. But we of course took them to our favorites that we frequent as well. This week we have Casey’s friends Elayna, Taylor, and Amanda visiting. Tuesday, April 12, 2011.

London: Oxford, England
http://kathrynhamlin.blogspot.com/2011/02/oxford-england.html
Semester Abroad: Spring 2011. Monday, February 14, 2011. I am extremely behind on my posts, so I will go ahead and start where I left off. Dr Mee, our Statistics professor, set up a day trip to Oxford. We have been doing a study of C. S. Lewis through Dr. Mee's discussion of The Question of God. This was a great way for all of us to talk about our beliefs while getting to know each other better. 10 points for Gryffindor if you can guess where we are! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Semester Abroad: Spring 2011. Sunday, December 12, 2010. Goodbye America. Hello London! I never thought that I would be posting my itinerary and all of my thoughts on an online blog, but under the pressure of some of my friends, the guidance of my family, and my personal goal of keeping a record of my busy semester, I now have spent a great deal of time creating this. I hope that you enjoy reading this as much as I will enjoy writing it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). So Dark we Forget Who we Are.

London: I've arrived!
http://kathrynhamlin.blogspot.com/2011/01/ive-arrived.html
Semester Abroad: Spring 2011. Thursday, January 6, 2011. After an eventful morning of losing things, saying goodbyes and trying not to forget anything important, I made it to the airport, through Hartsfield-Jackson and survived my 8 hour flight. It's been a long day and I'm definitely ready to take it easy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Globe Theater and the Tower of London. Global Leadership Scholars London 2011. mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: Last week :/
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011/05/last-week.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Friday, May 6, 2011. One week left in Florence. I can’t believe this semester has past so quickly! I remember when I had only been here a week. I walked around Florence with Courtney today soaking up the hot sunshine and reminiscing about that miserable, cold, rainy walking tour of Florence that we went on the first week when we barely knew each other. It had a weird texture but it was actually pretty good as long as you told yourself that you...

mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: Elba and Lucca
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011/05/elba-and-lucca.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Monday, May 2, 2011. Elba is known for hosting the exiled Napoleon. We wandered around the city for awhile before buying a bottle of wine and planting ourselves on the rocky beach. We played games and enjoyed each other’s company watching the peaceful ocean. We were the only ones around, and I loved the feeling of isolation for once (especially since Florence recently has been bustling with tourists). Lucca was a much nicer day trip!

mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: January 2011
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Monday, January 31, 2011. First day of class and I’m halfway done for the week! I’m also already exhausted. Or maybe I just have yet to become unexhausted. Sunday we spent catching up on rest and a short trip to IKEA. A new pillow was necessary… mine was literally flat as a pancake. We also bought some candles and a drying rack for our dishes. Then, we finally went for our first run in Firenze! It was getting dark and the lit city. I’m l...

mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte: under the tuscan sun
http://jessica-wilson.blogspot.com/2011/04/under-tuscan-sun.html
Mangiare, bere, e l'amore forte. Eat, drink, and love strong. Monday, April 11, 2011. Under the tuscan sun. Half marathon in a foreign country? Despite serious lack of training, sleep, and hydration, Casey and I dragged ourselves out of bed Sunday morning to meet at Santa Croce for the VIVICITTA: La Mezza Maratona di Firenze. At least the start was at 9:30 instead of 7 am like races in America! Monday, after classes, Casey and I headed to the Carraia Bridge to have some gelato then peruse the leather mar...
