Summer and Fall 2014. View my complete profile. Monday, December 22, 2014. Summer and Fall 2014. I felt like I had to update our family blog one more time before the year slips away! We had a fantastic summer and a fun-filled fall this year. Here are a few of the things we did. Logan participated in the Tulsa Tough, an annual bike race downtown. Hot and tired after the race. We did the Tulsa triathlon in June. Mike placed 3rd in his age group and Rachel placed 1st. We went canoeing in the Illinois river.

Logan is about nine months now and we are getting ready for our first Christmas with him. We will be heading up to Seattle, WA for Dallin Dance's wedding (Mike's best friend) and then back down to San Diego, Ca to spend a week with Mike's parents. It is recruiting season at UT, and Mike has had 15 interviews with prospective companies! Luckily, we are nearing the end and will know what are plans are by the end of October. I just have to take things slower because of Nathaniel. For instance, last year for the Austin cake show I started my cakes about two weeks ahead of the event.this year, I started yesterday, and the event is not till the end of February. I'm super excited because my brother and his wife had their little baby boy early this morning. He showed up at 5:06 AM (Mountain Time) on 2/1/2011 (nice birthday numbers), was 20 inches long, and weighed in at 7 pounds 12 ounces. His name is Ethan. He's been using it as a bed for about 5 nights now and this is how I found him sleeping when I went to check on him before I went to bed. Here are a few other pictures of our little man.
