Smiles From Kate: June 2016
http://smilesfromkate.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 29 June 2016. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, isn't it ironic when you agonise over something then have to take the best available. Actually I really like it, it tones well and contrasts nicely with the plainness of the majority of the fabrics. Here is the full view. The pale fabric looks better in these outside pics than last week. And of course, the obligatory posh pic! I now have 16 blocks sort of finished, two more and I'm halfway through. I say sort of, before joining them, w...

All things quilting and sewing. Guest Blogger: Meet Patti! I have a guest blogger today for your enjoyment: my mother, Patti Everest! She’s fantastic and the woman that taught me to sew. Give her a warm welcome as she’s very excited! As I started my journey of quilting little did I know what it entailed. It has not been a smooth path due to many extenuating circumstances including a full time job, raising daughter, taking care of mother, and trying to please husband. However, I know I am. I was in my ear...

And WHY do I use it on Twitter? Raquo; ‘Catholic Through the Year’ Planner from Catholic Sistas. 8216;Catholic Through the Year’ Planner from Catholic Sistas. I remember when my stepmom came home from the store, around 1993 or so, and handed me a bright purple notebook-looking thing. 8220;I thought you might like this,” she said. Turns out it was my very first planner. And then I discovered bullet journaling last year and it was the final piece of my productivity puzzle, solved. So who needs a planner?

The Darling Dogwood: June 2016
http://thedarlingdogwood.blogspot.com/2016_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2016. My Halloween quilt is done! I was able to get it quilted and the binding attached before our trip to Atlanta last weekend so that I could finish the binding in the car. I love sewing binding on car trips. The spider print in the middle came from a "fill a scrap bag" table at a local guild's quilt show I attended in March. I was mostly looking for scraps to add to my Scrap Dance Tango. This was my June goal. For OMG hosted by Heidi at Red Letter Quilts. I was goal-setter #59.).

Back when many in blogland were doing the Swoon Along (the host blog has been disabled), I had the same problem as Camille Roskelley: I liked them ALL. Ways to Love Your Unborn Babies. Make the Most of Your Time. Saying Hello/ Saying Goodbye. Connect With Other Families. For Friends and Family. Wednesday, June 17, 2015. The Me I Used to Be. It's been a year. Since I learned my life would be flipped upside down and inside out. A year. Since the world as I knew it came crumbling down below me. As our diagnosis day approached, I have thought about what I've lost, what I've grieved, what I've missed out on. The me I used to be. The me I used to be. I grieve...
