In 1994, A group consisting of eight families, plus eight other men and women, felt a need to found a church. Those 24 adults formed a congregation, and called themselves, Faith Baptist Church. The first congregational hymn sung was, Victory in Jesus. Their first Sunday morning service was conducted on April 17, 1994 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Walton.
