The Life I Have Been Given: what they hear
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/03/what-they-hear.html
Friday, March 7, 2014. Just some snippets from our days:. We were in line at Target, and the girls spied the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated magazine. You know the one (don't worry, I won't post the picture here): with the three girls' backsides on full display, all of them coyly looking over their shoulders at you. My girls were AP.PALLED. Bella urgently whispered. "Those girls are showing their. you know. Summer was hysterical. "Mama! Their bums are showing! I can't believe it! The girls were al...

The Life I Have Been Given: I.M.H.O.
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/03/imho.html
Monday, March 24, 2014. In My Humble Opinion. How well do you know your internet acronyms? Simply because I always am looking for fresh new ideas, especially good books, for time with my children, I thought I'd share our routine and the books we use. We begin off our time by gathering on the couch. When the children were younger,. It was simply a 5-10 minute period, teaching them to sit still beside me and listen. Now that they've learned that, we open to our memory passage and review the verses. So I th...

The Life I Have Been Given: 11 months
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/04/11-months.html
Thursday, April 24, 2014. Despite sickness and saying goodbye to family, etc., I had to sneak in a quick update of our son. The past month, I've really noticed the "boy" coming out in him. He loves loud noises (and to create them! He is just "rougher" in the way he accomplishes things. He discovered airplanes and LOOOOVES them. He is still a sweetie pie and makes all of our lives that much brighter. He is close to walking. taking little steps here and there. His 7th tooth just broke the gums.

The Life I Have Been Given: to a military spouse
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/03/to-military-spouse.html
Friday, March 28, 2014. To a military spouse. What follows is a typical, common. Conversation that I have with many non-military people. So how long is he going to be gone for? About 5 more months. Oh, that's not too bad! It'll go by fast. You guys can skype and email and stuff, right? You're really lucky that you get to see each other and talk on the phone. People back, just 20 years ago had to stick to handwritten letters! You've really got it good these days. Ya, well, don't get too down. Listen, folk...

Friday, September 16, 2011. Little Sweet Summer has been quickly evolving into Little Spitfire Summer. With crawling has come some major discoveries for little Sums. Namely, getting into anything and everything. following me around and hanging on my pant leg. finding her voice {and realizing it's LOUD}. knocking Bella over and getting into Bella's play things. standing on her own. etc. Watching her grow and develop from sweet, easy baby to active, little Miss Personality. Had pushed her out of her womb!

The Life I Have Been Given: Bella's Story
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/p/bellas-story.html
I will never forget the evening we found out about our new addition to our family. I was late on my monthly, but I couldn’t possibly be pregnant. At our 20-week ultrasound, I fell. Head over heels. In love. The baby moved and kicked, opened and closed its tiny mouth in a yawn. Such human characteristics, and yet, this being was inside. 8220;Not my baby. Not my. I knew growing up. I ached for her scars, knowing she would mostly likely struggle with seeing herself as beautiful. I wept for her pain ...Would...

The Life I Have Been Given: nine
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/02/nine.html
Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Yesterday, our little buddy turned nine-months old! I could say a bunch of things like, how fast it's going! Or what a joy he is! Or how big he's growing. But you already know that. Instead, I'll share how. Teeth numbers 3 and 4 are poking through on top. He has this sweet little curl that fans from the nape of his neck. a third curly-haired child, perhaps? He absolutely giggles with delight every time I pick him up in the morning or after naps.

http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2009/06/9-months.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Bella turns 9 months old tomorrow. Wow. can't believe it. Someone asked me the other day how I liked being a mom, and my response? I LOVE it -. She's such a joy and so much fun - every day is a new facial expression, new recognitions, new noises, new places to crawl and pull up on. The first 4 months or so were really hard. I mean. Hard But I'm LOVING it now. Things Bella is up to nowadays:. Loves playing at the park: the swings, climbing on the bars, crawling across the bridges.

The Life I Have Been Given: treasure
http://travisjenny.blogspot.com/2014/03/treasure.html
Monday, March 10, 2014. The more time I spend with my children, I realize that what I treasure, they treasure. We hear that all the time. Our children do as we do. They're watching. There's so little time to yourself, who wants to waste it on a movie? Read, paint, color! The Lord has been slowly revealing to me that what I treasure, they also will treasure. If I'm outside, they'll be outside. If I love reading, they'll love reading. If I love my computer, they'll love their computers (one day). Ugh, Jenn...
