the coyotes: October 2010
http://thecoyotes.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 25, 2010. MeeMaw (Sue Wiley) made the girls' Jessie costumes. They were very proud of them. I had to show off the back of the shirts too! After MUCH agonizing, James decided to be a policeman. A special kind of policeman that doesn't have to tuck in their shirt. Honey and Grandad brought Adlee to Trunk or Treat. She is Abby Cadabby (that might be spelled wrong) from Sesame Street. That is one happy face! We had a great time and got a lot of candy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

They love getting their blankets and pillows and laying down, usually right where I am working. Like the middle of the kitchen. But it's so cute! Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Randy is hoping she learns some fashion sense soon. Wednesday, November 13, 2013. One of the most highly anticipated moments in preparation of the Buddy Walk is the announ...

Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Travis had another birthday, which makes him yet another year older. It's crazy how that happens! Of course he is all about Legos so that was the theme for his party. But we mixed in a little Olympics too and did an obstacle course and some other fun games. I bought some Legos and gave each of the kids a bag to make their own creation. Then the adults voted on awards for each of them. It was fun to see the different things they created with all the same pieces.

Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Love is a Jello Salad. Justin had his annual visit to the ophthalmologist last week. It was the first time they could actually do a real vision test. They gave Justin a sheet of paper with 4 letters on it and the they put one of the letters up on the screen. They patched one eye and had him say which letter it was. He did SO good at identifying the letters! Until they got too small. As it turns out the eye with the myelinated nerve fibers. But you women understand, right?

Wednesday, August 28, 2013. So I was ready to undertake this challenge. I think my little starfish cake is pretty cool! She is so excited for Whitney's arrival! She received some adorable clothes and a few useful things too. Every baby needs something. And every baby with any Wisconsin blood needs a Packers outfit. Whitney is ready for football season! Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Some More Arizona Fun. When Phoenix was just getting settled they didn't have a jail yet so this was their alternative: a jail r...

Friday, March 7, 2014. Houston Rodeo Lil' Rustler Justin. The Down Syndrome Assoc. of Houston gets a few tickets every year to this event and Justin was chosen to participate. I was a little worried because it's loud and there is lots of commotion, and we were told to plan to leave our child with their cowboy friend (a real Texas Ranger, and not the baseball variety! Justin can sometimes go either way, but this night, he did great! Here's Justin with his Ranger. When they started, the pairs walked out an...

Saturday, January 25, 2014. Ladies Kick Off Dinner. A couple of my other favorite tables:. The table linens are donated by a rental place where one of our ladies works. It really makes things look so amazing! Our table in all it's animal print glory! I made little headbands for everyone to wear. There was a group of 3 sisters and their (close to) 90 year-old mother. I love that they all wore the headbands! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Travis, Justin and Alaina. Ladies Kick Off Dinner.

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. This month is almost over and it has been a busy one for us, so here's the catch-up post:. So I realized this week that I have this insane notion that after the kids go to bed I get another whole day's worth of time to get things done. Eight loads of laundry? I'll just do that after the kids go to bed. Responding to e-mail? I'll do it tonight. Digging out my desk from the pile of paper clutter? Anyone else with the same problem? We went back and forth guessing wrong until th...

DeCarlo News: December 2013

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. We did our gingerbread houses again this year. I found a fun village with 5 different houses, but when I opened the box, three of them were broken beyond repair. We shrugged it off and enjoyed decorating what was left. I was surprised they didn't go crazy and cover them with candy, but they turned out very nice. Then we had our Christmas with Randy's parents before we left for Arizona. The kids all enjoyed their presents. I was not carting them all with us! The other brilliant...
