Ribbon Cutting was a success! Known as the "Delaware Double," this project was administered out of the City's Community and Housing Development Department and was funded entirely with HOME dollars from HUD. The lot was acquired through the City's Neighborhood Renewal Program and had been vacant and severely blighted. The two units will serve as affordable rental units for 20 years and will be owned and operated by Family Promise, a local nonprofit organization. Whatever happened to that?
