Trapped in the Vortex. More travels with @vortexglenn. Finally… My Review of The Day of the Doctor. March 26, 2014. Okay, I’m having to pull myself away from Buzzfeed.com’s “ 34 Things You Never New About Leonardo DiCaprio. 8221; to get back on task here as promised. DOTD is a wonderfully crafted story, with lots of nods to the show&...

Trapped in the Vortex. More travels with @vortexglenn. March 27, 2014. So, in staying with my promise to keep this blog updated, I figured that following on the heels of my review of The Day of the Doctor, I should also add my 2 cents on Matt Smith’s swan song, The Time of the Doctor. Don’t get too used to a daily update, however. I can’t imagine I will post every single day. The story is strong, and really drills down to the core of the Eleventh Doctor. Matt is a truly gifted actor and continues to ...

Trapped in the Vortex. More travels with @vortexglenn. Weapons in the Shadows. March 8, 2015. My rating: 4 of 5 stars. I’ll start by saying this is the first 12th Doctor novel that I have read. I have read Doctor Who novels and audio plays written by Justin Richards. Before, in fact he’s written some of my favorites. So, I was pleased that he would tackle a story with the latest incarnation of the character. Not his best, but overall an enjoyable book. Over all quite enjoyable. The other thing I wasnR...
