http://in-my-playroom.blogspot.com/2015/08/im-following-tree-august-2015.html
Things . 101 and 52. Friday, 7 August 2015. I'm Following a Tree August 2015. It's time for the August visit to see how my tree is getting on. I wasn't expecting any significant changes from last month and that's exactly what I found! The female catkins are continuing to swell in size and the tree is covered in them. The majority of them are green . Strangely, there appears to still be a few tiny male catkins remaining. Some of the leaves are providing nourishment for visitors to the tree. The bark is go...

Today's outing was lunch with two friends at the Glove Factory in Holt, and then an afternoon visit to the Courts Garden, a National Trust property, where we had the opportunity to learn about the language of flowers and then to make a tussie mussie (a small posy) for a friend. The event was geared towards children, but we did it anyway! These are our attempts! 6 August 2015 at 21:49. 6 August 2015 at 21:58. 7 August 20...

in my playroom: Orchids
http://in-my-playroom.blogspot.com/2015/08/orchids.html
Things . 101 and 52. Thursday, 13 August 2015. Yesterday, I met with a friend for lunch at Lowden Garden Centre. These frequent lunches with various friends could well be the reason the diet isn't working, but that's something to puzzle my brain about on another day! The creamy coloured one will eventually make its home in the front room, once I've had a bit of a change round, but for now it will keep the other one company in the dining room. That's assuming I manage to keep them alive! Love the cream co...

Things . 101 and 52. Monday, 10 August 2015. Me on Monday . drying out after getting soaked to the skin during my early morning walk, part of my 'get-out-and-walk-whatever-the-weather' exercise drive. I may have to rethink this approach, as I now don't feel like doing all the other things on the list for today! You may have gathered that I have a bad case of lazyitis. Again! The rest of this weekend was packed with visits from friends and a trip out. So, that's Me on Monday. How about you? Lovely photo o...

Starting on Jan 1st 2015, the completion date will be September 28th 2017. Reach my target weight.

in my playroom: The Year in Books | August 2015
http://in-my-playroom.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-year-in-books-august-2015.html
Things . 101 and 52. Monday, 3 August 2015. The Year in Books August 2015. The July book group reads were disappointing. The first one was. The second book was also a book group choice -. By Linwood Barclay. It was a decent enough crime story but a strange choice for the book group as there wasn't really that much to discuss. I found it easy enough to read through but it didn't really hold my attention and I wouldn't rave about it, which is my usual reaction to this author's writing. He Who Fears the Wolf.
