Saturday, May 5, 2012. I was being very patient this morning and it paid off. We had several visitors to the fountain in our backyard, a couple of which were new visitors. And a House Sparrow. He has been here before, but I always love seeing him. He has never taken a bath before. Usually he shows up with another Towhee and they like to forage on the ground. I think this is a House Finch. I was very excited to see him! We get many hummingbirds in the yard, but I've never seen him before.

Thursday, October 25, 2012. We haven´t had many new visitors to the backyard for quite awhile. But the other day we had a pair of Orioles come to the fountain. And then this past week we had a Seminar in Cancun and saw so many beautiful birds. At the Fairmont Hotel where we stayed. This was the best photo I could get of this bird from our balcony.
