Backyards | Eating Green in Austin
https://austinlocal.wordpress.com/backyard
Eating Green in Austin. Growing food in your own backyard is a fun and environmentally friendly way to incorporate nutritious ingredients into meals while learning about the natural processes involved in food production. If you produce more than your household needs, sharing with your neighbors can connect you with the community and involve more people in healthy, sustainable eating. Down to Earth: Chickens! Chickens! Chickens!
http://thedowntoearthblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/chickens-chickens-chickens.html
Friday, November 4, 2011. Every year we look forward to the great State Fair of Texas! This year, Andrea hosted a talk and demonstration about urban chicken keeping. We brought along Wedgewood, the bantam blue Orpington to help us out. They are fun, quiet and clean. Enjoy fresh eggs without a trip to the store. They bring a bit of the country to the city. They produce the best garden fertilizer around. Children can learn about farm life and caring for animals. Most municipalities do not allow roosters.

The Peyton Family: Columbus Day 2011
http://jonahandcousins.blogspot.com/2011/10/columbus-day-2011.html
Welcome to our growing family. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Cameron, Jonah and Macy hanging in the back yard. Fullers, Peytons, and Cameron. And why was it that only my kids were half naked? Because they're silly, and filthy, and if one does something, then the other on has to do it too. Believe me! Any guesses as to why they were all laughing so hard? Because I was dancing like a monkey behind the photographer. dur. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Things I'm into lately.
