In coordination with the school district, the Child Find function locates children who are potentially eligible for services. They are located, screened, evaluated, and provided with appropriate educational services, without experiencing unnecessary delays in the service system. The primary target population for FDLRS is all children and youth, birth up to the 22nd birthday who are not enrolled in a public school.
