Grace & Fire: June 2008
http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Sunday, June 29, 2008. MY EARLY CHRISTIAN YEARS. I don't know exactly why but the Lord has suddenly, out of nowhere, flashed memories in my mind of my early life as a Christian. What a splendidly crafted, fun past! Its hard to believe that the Lord has brought me this far. Well, this isn't really far. I'm still. This is about God invading my life with His grace and power. If it was all about me, woooh, how I wish to be be dead right now. All I...

Grace & Fire: THE SOLITARINESS OF GOD, An Overview
http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2009/03/solitariness-of-god-overview.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Thursday, March 5, 2009. THE SOLITARINESS OF GOD, An Overview. The solitariness of God is defined as God’s independence from all His creations. This doctrine is often dismissed as common knowledge but there are many viewing windows to this attribute, just like His other perfections. We shall look at some of these windows as revealed in His inspired Word. 14What then shall we say? 15For he says to Moses,. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,.

A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Thursday, March 5, 2009. THE INFINITUDE OF GOD, An Overview. The Lord is a God of infinite worth. He is infinitely worthy of praise, honour and reverence. Ah, even if all creation were to gather together to praise Him for all eternity, none can give Him the true honour He deserves. Who alone but God can please Himself? Can man please God on his own, without grace? Can man truly honour God as He ought to be? Another angle of the countless persp...

A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Monday, January 26, 2009. THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD, A Brief Reminder. I would also submit to you dear readers that in this present age, most of the things we know about God are mere assumptions. About 70% of what we know about God comes from Christian cliches, and when it comes down to the application, we can do no better than a corpse. Do we know how different His love is from man? A correct understanding of God's love will cause the repentant t...

A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Sunday, August 31, 2008. CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER. So with the little free time I have, I've been searching for some good old movies (2006-2007) that I might have missed. Finally, I found one of the romance-epic types that is not only powerful, astounding and magnificently done but deeply perplexing as well. Ah indeed. it was worth the watch. What a slavish and dreamy liberty we had. It was a fancied freedom. We were slaves to our lu...Yes y...

Grace & Fire: July 2008
http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. WHY, OH LORD, WOULD YOU WANT ME TO LIVE? I've been thinking too much lately. I've gone through a lot of needle holes these past months, struggling against my flesh. I know I'm dislocated. I know I'm not in the right position. I have failed. I've been asking God the single question each day. "Why oh Lord would you want me to live? Why would God want me to live? Because God needs me? Why would the Lord want me to live?

http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Christians nowadays don’t participate. Because we think we’re already literate. We have our fun day, our work day. We have our DVD day, our shopping day. But when is our serving day? Are we going through the narrow way? Or are we just here every Sunday? We are called to serve Him with all. Not to play around and roll. We do not answer His call,. And then we wonder why we fall. If not for Him we would be lost. Anything l...

Grace & Fire: April 2008
http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Why "Christians" aren't Christians? A person who hears the Gospel, repents and believes in Jesus Christ as the one true Lord and Savior is saved. However, why are there are so many professing Christians who have heard the Gospel and yet have continually lived in sin and carnality? 1) They heard the true Gospel but rejected it. (Written throughout the New testament). Sunday, April 27, 2008. The Hope I Look Forward To.

http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Friday, October 24, 2008. NOTHING OF THIS WORLD CAN SATISFY CHRISTIANS. If you're a child of the King, nothing of this world can satisfy you. Nothing! Thursday, October 23, 2008. A realization has to be written. A truth must be spoken. Alas! I know this note will surely grieve many but such an atrocious delusion must be exposed. I must confess: the way we define love in this generation will disgust the Author of it. As a Christian, I believe t...

Grace & Fire: THE IMMUTABILITY OF GOD, An Overview
http://mikeborja.blogspot.com/2009/01/immutability-of-god-overview.html
A Christian blog with one goal: to glorify the Lord of Hosts. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. THE IMMUTABILITY OF GOD, An Overview. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8). The immutability of God is defined as God's never changing character. He never grows, adapts or changes. His divine attributes and wholesome decrees are subject to no change or revision. He is immutable - a perpetual Rock, an immovable Stronghold, an unshakable Pillar of might! A terrifying thought isn't it?
