Sometimes I don’t know where I go to excuse myself from the pain that is wearing down the very seat of my soul. I used to sing. Then I turned to weeping, then groaning and now cursing in silence. With each execution I pray it is the last. It doesn’t seem right to walk around looking all normal when I am bound to this daily regiment of torture that no trick or pill can ease.
