Recipes and foods that I make and eat. Pretzels, New Job. July 20, 2010. Two bits of news! The first exciting thing is that I have a job, as a baker. Next week I start work at Great Harvest. In Rockville. That means getting up an hour before the buttcrack of dawn to do the whole professional baker thing. Yikes! Clearly, because we’re more awesome than you. After much coaxing from me, she finally posted the pictures on her blog. The photos and a lot of the shapes were done by Molly. 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast.

Sweet cardamom mazto balls simmered in coconut milk is quite possibly the world's perfect food. (make like normal matzo balls, only with sugar instead of salt, plus cardamom, cook in slightly sugared water, then simmer briefly in a mixture of coconut milk, honey, more cardamom, and rosewater; serve like soup only probably in smaller bowls.). April 22, 2010. Apparently tonight I'm going to work. but without my work actually being there. I work in an old milk truck with a kitchen in it, and the truck is in the shop tonight.
