http://leah225.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
The Battle of Trafalgar. The brief is to re-create the battle of Trafalgar on the 21st october 1805. The re-creation must show how the sixty great ships fought for many hours in chocking fumes, fires and cannon balls. Friday, 28 September 2007. When first reading the brief for this module I realised we have a lot of work to do in a very short time. The first six weeks of individual work seems a bit daunting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Battle of Trafalgar. The brief is to re-create the battle of Trafalgar on the 21st october 1805. The re-creation must show how the sixty great ships fought for many hours in chocking fumes, fires and cannon balls. Wednesday, 31 October 2007. I have now finished my neck on my character. I might add some shoulders but i want to add some hair first so it looks a bit more realistic and it might also make the forehead. And turbo smooth the hair moves to these modifiers. But not in my render. I am quite ha...

Battle of Trafalgar: Editing
http://drownthefrogs.blogspot.com/2007/12/editing.html
Thursday, 13 December 2007. The other finishers and I have spent a lot of time getting the transitions between the scenes looking smooth and also trying to keep the pace of the whole thing up and making the animation flow. The music that has been used (Apocaliptica) is just perfect for the animation, I love the feel of it. I hope you enjoy. The address is http:/ fragmentadora-de-papel.blogspot.com. Virtual Environments ED330009D: Gun deck
http://benwedgburrow.blogspot.com/2007/12/gun-deck.html
The Battle of Trafalgar. Wednesday, December 5. Ok so I am really underway with animating this scene now. I have the camera follwing a path to the cannon. One of the enemy ships then goes past the hole and the cannon shoots. I just need the final sea (not sure if the one I downloaded of humyo is the final one), the sky, the crew and some smoke effects (mine are a little shabby). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). First thoughts on almost final render. Not going too well. First preview of the gun deck.

The Battle of Trafalgar: Ouch, splinters
http://jtbot.blogspot.com/2007/12/ouch-splinters.html
The Battle of Trafalgar. A journal from the BSc Computer-aided Visualization module "Virtual Environments". Thursday, 13 December 2007. I used a space warp called "Mesh Bomb" which shatters objects into its separate faces, and applies an animation which looks like an explosion similar to particle effects. I think in the final animation it'll be too small to see very well so I included a rendering below, so my efforts weren't to waste :P. Posted by James Tickett. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
