Trying to find the oneness of it all

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Remember everything like each day is your last. Etch the images of venues from your past in your brain. They may not be here when you come back. To this city that is forever changing. It will never be the same. And neither will you. But for now all you can do is remember. For the next 2 weeks, as long as youre here. Its the only way to be in the moment. Its the only way to conquer denial. Because you dont actually want to leave. Or until you feel release. Sweet, sweet release.

Trying to find the oneness of it all: July 2010

http://findingtheoneness.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 8, 2010. My phone buzzes and I hope its him. A generic him. Could be anyone at this point. Anyone could be the love of my life at this point. And I dont mean it in a way thats like settling. Just that at this age and this stage of the game, the man of your dreams is either the guy youve known for years or the boy you havent met yet. Trying to find the oneness of it all: May 2012

http://findingtheoneness.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 31, 2012. I dont understand whats wrong with the NYC subway system tonight. Why on the same train I heard a man sing in Russian in a booming baritone voice accompanied by a CD of music played on an electric keyboard. I think the only people who donated were Russian. After I and my throbbing headache fled through the open subway doors. I caught a glimpse and listen to a guy on an electric guitar singing a song. When did the train first become a place to display your art? Gayz Of Our Lives.

Trying to find the oneness of it all: Broken

http://findingtheoneness.blogspot.com/2012/08/broken.html

Tuesday, August 7, 2012. There are some people whose Zionism is stronger than my will. They will persevere even when doors are slammed in their faces. Today I feel broken. Tomorrow I will put the pieces together. I am not the first to suffer this struggle and I will not be the last. If I have nothing, then I dont need to prove myself anymore. Israeli or not, I just am. Trying to find the oneness of it all: August 2010

http://findingtheoneness.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Have made me question everything. Like why men feign love and devotion all for the sake of sex that doesn't happen. Why 3 subway stops once separated my heart from yours. Left me waiting and anticipating. Seemed like infinite hours. And now I can't wait for you to be so far away from my F train. You can keep the G. Be gone with it. Ride it all the way to San Francisco. There will be no flowers left at your doorstep for you to place in your hair. No silent vigils when you leave.

Little Miss Graham: The problem with the world today...

http://channahboo.blogspot.com/2010/01/problem-with-world-today.html

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. The problem with the world today. The problem with the world today is Starbucks coffee. On every street corner, spreading like a disease around the world (apart from Israel, we had the good sense, for once, to give that shit back! The problem with the world today is that we are all sheep. Where ever you go, herds of people all clustered together looking the same… and yet still referring to themselves as alternative. Alternative to what? 8221; No no no! The problem with the worl...

Little Miss Graham: May 2010

http://channahboo.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 11, 2010. I have been home now a month and a half. It does not seem that long and yet New York feels like a decade ago, like a two week vacation long gone. I have to remind myself that this was no two week vacation. I lived New York. I loved New York. My leaving may have been an inevitable, but I never want her to forget how much I loved her. A period of time in my life that I will treasure always and always write about to never let myself forget. Who could forget New York? She's probably dr...

Little Miss Graham: Same Channahboo... A New Adventure

http://channahboo.blogspot.com/2009/09/same-channahboo-new-adventure.html

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Same Channahboo. A New Adventure. 8230; And so now my adventure takes a new twist and I am finding myself sipping Mocca Latte in terminal 5, staring out at the British Airways planes lined in a row and smiling at the irony of the situation that an English Girl who had just 5 years before moved to Israel, has now found herself back in London in transit to New York for the next leg of her adventure. How many legs does this adventure have? This is not to say I am done with.

Collective Thoughts of a Ginrod: November 2006

http://ginrod.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 28, 2006. SE Asians have this natural ability to keep their heads above water under any circumstance. Take my grandmother for example. She bore 12 children naturally, put most of them through university, lost three of them and her husband and she still manages to do shadow kung fu with me in living rooms. And the longer this man is on the run, the more all us women of Tel Aviv are gonna be more and more pissed off. Posted by The Ginrod @ 8:33 AM. Friday, November 24, 2006. I ask as I pu...

Saturday, July 29, 2006. As the war continues to drag on- slowly, but surely my friends and acquaintances are being called up. One by one they are receiving the call to change into their uniforms and serve. Tsiki's best friend was called up last week. "Where are you going" I naively asked him. "eh- near Hebron Sooz". I heard the awkwardness in his voice. "Near Hebron Elad? Near Hebron as in around the area where Tsiki was killed Hebron? Posted by The Ginrod @ 8:45 AM. Sunday, July 23, 2006. Sure did....

Little Miss Graham: March 2009

http://channahboo.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 24, 2009. I am trying to write again. I stare and this plain page in front of me and think about the multitude of words that I want to say, how I want to laugh at myself, how the dreams I have at night have surprisingly nothing to do with the tears that come in the morning… some mornings, not every morning. 8221; I guess that thought is not just voiced at me. The song ‘Why do fools fall in love’. You see this is why I have found it so hard to write again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What o...

Finding Ohna | Choosing to Enjoy the Journey

Choosing to Enjoy the Journey. Say So Long, Say Goodbye. Sometimes I find it incredibly easy to walk away from people. Sometimes not so much. It is funny I’m writing this now because I just got a call from two said friends I walked from. Their angry I didn’t give them 20 dollars they feel I owe them, accusing me of being a drug addict – I don’t do drugs. Accusing me of being a moochey pooky little bitch yada yada yada. Enroute

A journey towards understanding. Saturday, June 4, 2011. Less To Go Around. I've noticed a trend occurring. I'm pretty sure I don't like it. I can't say I didn't expect it to happen, but I always thought there would be more time. I've noticed a trend, in which, there is no more food by the end of dinner. I love leftovers. Sometimes food is better the second day even. However, my children seem to have the same love of food as I do. Also, on an unrelated topic, my wife is awesome. Saturday, May 7, 2011.
