First Time in Paris. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Back to Paris for a Long Weekend - Crazy? Well we%26#39;ve been back from our vacation in Paris and Venice for just under a month now, and we%26#39;re horribly depressed. It seems the only cure is to plan another trip. So we%26#39;re toying with the idea of going back to Paris in May for a long weekend. Flying out Thursday night, arriving Friday morning, and flying back on Monday around noon. Did you feel like it was a good plan? Is it too good to be true?

I guessed, it%26#39;s not possible with the Point-Point promo rate, and with Point-Point normal rate, i have to book way ahead in order to get the discount. After some calculations based on the fare posted on individual train site, using the pass seems to work out better for us, maybe i am missing out something. Paris - Brussels (stopover), thalys: 82, Promo 25, Pass Supplement 22 1st class (in euro). Amsterdam - Koblenz (stopover) ICE: 70, Promo 29.
