A day in the life of a Fitzgerald. Saturday, March 31, 2012. In my study Bible, I found some great stuff noted between the beautiful scriptures. First is that Joy, Thanksgiving, and Grace are all related words in Greek. Interesting, but not surprising. They all seem to go together intentionally or accidentally. A day in the life of a Fitzgerald. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Today my husband and a couple of our good buddies poured 4.5 yards of concrete in our backyard off our side door. It is so wonderful to imagine the new reality of having a mudroom that isn't literally a MUDroom! We were able to get our yard level with the sidewalk on that side and eliminate a step out the door. It is so great I can hardly contain myself! You may think this is a small thing, but really people, this is going to change my life!

Not so Sex and the City. Saturday, April 11, 2009. The man with the horn thing counted down from ten and Joey was smiling and kinda confused then he got to "1" and I said "go JOey. He was getting trampled on (not by kids) but by adults! Adults filling the kids baskets with eggs etc. He was having a blast-I was freakin. And unforgivably pissed off at some parents) I embraced his joy and excitement with a crooked smile. In the car on the way to my well deserved caffeine fix at Starbucks. Back basis. ha!

Not so Sex and the City. Thursday, March 12, 2009. For having a cold and having 2 sick children I'm doing pretty good. He will be 4 in June and he has never thrown up before (because of sickness) I was in shock! He was in shock! I fell back asleep after I checked on the other sickly one who had not made a peep all night. "Is she alive? I thought. I could tell Brian was thinking the same thing. She was sound asleep. Humidifiers are awesome! Joey is now still asleep, Ruthie is asleep and I should be asleep!

Thursday, December 5, 2013. It continues to amaze me how little my kids understand about where their food (particularly meat) comes from. I made a pork tenderloin a few weeks ago and it blew their minds that it was from a pig. Today I packed Beckett and Darcy roast beef sandwiches for the first time ever.
