I’m back. | Watch me run.
https://howmanymiles.wordpress.com/2009/05/19/359
The time for change is now. The other day, at the gym, someone recognized me. No shit, she recognized me. I was minding my own business, rocking out to Beyonce, watching the history channel on the TV, doing my workout, when I noticed her glancing over at me. Strange, I thought. She was a few treadmills over from me, which made her glances seem a bit awkward and contorted, and let’s face it, made me nervous that she was going to fall backwards off the treadmill. I was totally flattered. Especially sin...

Heat Runner: To the Top of Mt. Wrightson!
http://heatrunner.blogspot.com/2013/05/to-top-of-mt-wrightson.html
Sunday, May 5, 2013. To the Top of Mt. Wrightson! Last Sunday, I got the chance to finally explore the Santa Rita Mountains. TTR hosted a run called Mt. Wrightson Massacre. The goal is to do more than one ascent and descent. My goal. Was to make it to the top and back down without twisting an ankle or getting lost (which I almost did). I drove to the base of the Santa Rita's for a 7AM start. I was amazed at how different it looked from the rest of Southern Arizona! Way to be prepared. ;). That's when I r...

Heat Runner: Bondi Bands vs. Sweaty Bands
http://heatrunner.blogspot.com/2013/09/bondi-bands-vs-sweaty-bands.html
Sunday, September 8, 2013. Bondi Bands vs. Sweaty Bands. I have recently got into the debate about which is better: Bondi Band or Sweaty Band? I had such a problem, before I bought either of them, with keeping my hair out of my face and generally keeping a headband on at all. I guess I have a weird shaped head because whenever I tried a "regular" sport headband, it would always. Slip out. No bueno. Sweaty Bands/Razzy Roo Headbands. I had heard so much about Sweaty Bands. Because of all of the designs!
