Friday, April 29, 2011. Virginia here we come! It has been a while since I posted but I promised to put pictures of our 6 day trip across the U.S. So here we go! The first day in I caught a tiny smile from Jake on camera-what a way to start things out! Jake did great on most of the trip. One day he was pretty fussy and we made a lot of stops that day but we did figure out how to keep him from getting to gassy for the most part while we drove. Followed by an explosion. Monday, July 18, 2011. The view from the restaurant we ate at. I had a tuna steak. Isaac had a stuffed flounder. Both caught that morning! And hush puppies. They were amazing! Friday, November 18, 2011. Long time No Post. So last week my camera of 7 years up and died on me. Sad day. But then, I got a new one! These are some shots with the new camera from this morning waiting at the bus stop. And yes-it is still fall here! Somebody commented that they may have seen some frost on the car windows but I didn't see it. Another lady at the bus stop was telling me it would be pretty cold tomorrow-highs in the 50's! Wednesday, August 3, 2011. I'm sure there will be times that you'll look at your parents and say 'it is so beautiful, how did they get it that way? Maybe not your parents, maybe some other fantastic and successful couple) Or maybe you'll look at the weeds and the awful state of your parents garden and wonder how to move forward since you've never really had an example to work off of! Thursday, March 25, 2010. More Holiness give me. I do feel that I have become better aquainted with the qualities and characteristics of God, but I don't think I have drawn nearer to him. When I was in seminary I remember one lesson that my teacher gave that struck me. It was about little sins that we don't like to give up. Little sins that keep us from being better, living closer to the spirit, and that impede our worthiness to be guided by the Holy Ghost. Today I read this quote out of the ensign.
