How to find us. Surface treatment of turned. Quality policies and quality targets. Otto Flühs, then a 40-year-old set-up engineer for automatic lathes, founded the company in 1926. The economic conditions at the time were as bad as they could ever have been. Erich, his son, also started to work in the firm in the same year. After his father's death, it was Erich who took over the company and gave it its distinctive style. By 1951, at the start of the German economic miracle, the company had 55 employees.
