Fluro's Ironman Training (FIT). Face your fears live your dreams. Wednesday, September 14, 2005. New Record. Mt Keira climb. New record. Mt Keira Time Trial. I broke the record this morning. My time was 18:51. The previous record was 19:05 (ie cycle2max.com). I did a PB by 24 seconds. I'm rapped with the result. Conditions weren't ideal. There was a strong westerly wind blowing which made the first 1/2 of the climb tough and also a few of the switchbacks were quite exposed. Sunday, September 11, 2005.

The goal this week is to buckle down and get through 3 more quality sessions before we take a easier recovery week. Sundays ride is going to be quite tough as we are getting up close to 90k of TTing at HIMeffort within a 4.5hr ride. Run: (1:01), 11.1km, 125bpm. 20min easy, 10min building to lower steady, 20min fartlek building to 4:00min/k, 10min easy. 5 x6min @ 160-165bpm. Week 2: Bike Focus.

Saturday, September 30, 2006. Workout Summary: 66 miles (4:05, 6200 ft ascent). Bike with Grant and Gant. Nice ride. Really only worked hard up the 1400 ft ascent of Bald peak. This is a good sustained climb. Bald peak: 23 min, ave HR 138, mx 154: Power ave 348, max 569. Entire ride, Power ave 201. max 889. Power 5 min. peak 372.

Monday, January 07, 2008. Climb to top of Giant's Head Mtn on closed road. Road had many inches of snow on it. Great fun and very hard climb in snow. Rode to giant's head via Kvr over trestle crashed once on KVR as it was very icy in spots. Great coming down Giant's head road on snowy road. Saturday, January 05, 2008. The picture taken just before the arrest from the police whilst we were attempting to run across the Hoover dam last year. Yes we were forced to turn back by the big bad cops as there is no running on the dam wall. I guess they may have thought we had explosives strapped to us.
