http://antermonyrise.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Fly fishing, fly tying and friends. My Fly Tying Videos. Saturday, 13 July 2013. A Day to Remember on Loch Walton. Esterday I thought I'd died and gone to fishing heaven. You see, I was fishing Loch Walton in the Campsies. Those of you who know it, will understand my excitement. It's a magical loch, remote and as wild as can be for these parts. Indeed looking around, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were fishing one of the hill lochs in Assyint or the Connemaras. First fish of the day. During ...

Fly fishing, fly tying and friends. My Fly Tying Videos. Friday, 31 May 2013. Thursday, 16 May 2013. Broon, as he's known to his pals, and I had agreed to meet up at the fishery early doors. It was a still morning, overcast with some bright spells. I arrived at 8:30am and with no sign of Broon I paid my ticket and made my way up to the loch. Twenty minutes later my flies, a Rainbow Warrior and Claret Dabbler were taking their first swim attached to Cortland blue intermediate. Broon with the first of many.

A spot of fishing? I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing. Thursday, June 19, 2014. I enjoyed an afternoon up at Entwistle reservoir yesterday, my first trip of the season. En route, I called at Anglers Den. In Darwen to collect my day ticket. Some might scoff and look to their fancy, shiny baitrunners etc. etc. but what price memories - and it's still a bloody good reel and will marry up well with my old carp rod. Come the winter it will see duty on my spinning rod and the three of u...After lea...

A spot of fishing?: Duffer comes good....
http://spotoffishing.blogspot.com/2013/08/duffer-comes-good.html
A spot of fishing? I have laid aside business, and gone a'fishing. Sunday, August 11, 2013. For more urban river explorations. We waded into what used to be a veritable sewer running through a local town centre. The water was largely very clear but the banks still spoke of the years of neglect. No manicured lawns or carefully tidied banks. Instead, we stepped over bricks and tyres and shopping trolleys and god knows what else. A few quick snaps and the fish was returned to fight another day. Greetings, I...

Sheffield on the fly. Exploits on the rivers in and around Sheffield. Saturday, 14 July 2012. Its been a while. So, since I last posted life has changed - the birth of my daughter in september has changed domestic priorities significantly!
