I call it burma. October 10, 2012. I’m there, but really I’m here. New York City, here. That was six years ago. How time really does change things. From one year to the next. Year five to six. One continent to another. Europe to the US. US to Asia. Places can be transient. People, too. Sometimes so much that we feel like something was stolen from us. Is it the people that make a place come alive? Or would the place be alive regardless? I saw They Call it Myanmar. 2006 A border. They Call it Myanmar.

It's directed by Lee Jeong-beom (이정범), the man who directed "Ajusshi/The Man From Nowhere," which you know I loved. Starting all over again……. Motivation dont fail me now! I’ve booked tickets for sausage and I to do “Run or dye” on october 25th, so I need to get going again with my fitness. The girls are back at school so theres no excuse for me not doing exercise. I went out this morning while pumpkin was at pre-school and managed 2 miles, only slowing to a walk a couple of times so I was quite pleased with that.
